I do have some "doubles" (or in some cases triples and quads)that are re-issues and some of them just do not feel the same, I do not know if it is the modern day materials used in the construction or the nostalgia element associated with the first release ones.. but i am by no means a re-issue hater. i think it all comes down to affordability in the end..Stevehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00067768786579503658noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5194919880724604608.post-16988227564900182212011-07-20T03:45:55.749+10:002011-07-20T03:45:55.749+10:00Dude, that is a thoroughly stunning collection and...Dude, that is a thoroughly stunning collection and a great write-up! :D

I'm only a couple of figures away from completing the 84 Decepticons myself, the Autobots are a different story and I'm increasingly considering just acquiring Japanese Reissues to fill those voids. ;)

On that note, what are your thoughts on substituting expensive 80s Original figures with that of later Reissues in ones collection?

I hope you're able to add more to this blog mate when and where you can find the time to do so - Glad to see the house is really taking shape too. :)Hursticonhttp://www.otca.com.au/boardsnoreply@blogger.com
