In the mail today arrived some Body parts..... iGear's Kup-01 Replacement Head for Generations Sergent Kup.....

The Heads are for this Guy

A Novel Design Feature about the packaging for the Replacement heads is that the box is the perfect size for Kup to carry as cargo.. after all in the heat of battle you don't want to lose your head.

 The Heads are designed after the IDW Kup Design which is a pretty good looking head for the old timer..one with his "Cy-Gar" and one without.. i have decided to put the cy-gar smoking head on Kup (remember smoking is hazardous to all transformers)

now the idea of replacing the head is a good one too as the original one given to Kup by his makers is not a pretty one that is for sure

Whilst i am not a big fan of third party products or modifying figures i do like the newer head for Kup the existing head he had just did not look right(its like it came out of the mould wrong). a cheap modification that wont look out of place on the shelf.

Targetmaster Cyclonus is one of those figures that are hard to come by  at the best of times, so when there was one up for offer, it was a must pick up for me. Missing from my collection and a target on my hit list for 2012 it is nice to get this guy out of the way early!!

The front of the Box is in wonderful condition, the back of the box has been repaired as the techs were cut out but it is hardley noticable.

For the most part Cyclonus is naked so i might need to look into getting some stickers for him down the track... and as you can see below the rubsign is somewhat destroyed apart from that  the figure is in great condition for his age.

The only Reason i picked up lil ol swerve here is Simply for his Backing Card, which is in pretty good shape this replaces my tech scpe i have of this guy!!

Pipes was one of the first transformer minibots i ever got as a child the 1984-85 bots i didnt get until much later.
 
And the one currently in my possesion has had a hard life has a broken wheel and lots of chrome wear.. Pipes was also not a high priority on my "replacement" list so when this one came up for offer in a fellow collectors sales it was a simple grab (or purchase rather) 
 

This Pipes has fared much better then the one currently in my collection with some chrome wear at the top of one of his stacks.!

Acquisition - G2 - 1993 - Bumblebee

On every 3 or so months the "Parra Fair" can sometimes turn up some good Finds (like Windsweeper Previously) this time it was the shiney Gold G2 Bumblebee (have had a very G2 couple of days)

The Gold is in good condition and the bumblebee has always been a great little toy it was an impulse buy but and easy buy. it also didnt help that i have no idea if i actually have it already or not. with everything in storage it is getting difficult to remeber when i go to those little swap meet things

And incase you dont know what side bumblebee is on he has it tattooed onto his underside!!

A Small acquisition but a new (old) item to add to the inventory (if i actually kept an inventory). Way back in November of 1993 Marvel Published the First issue of Transformers Generation 2. I had always had the foil gate fold cover stored in my comic box with the rest of the original G2 Run so when i stumbled across the "original" cover i had to add it to the collection.

The Comic arrived in great condition No Spine creases or dog ears, the comic does have that old comic look with the comic paper used during the 90's

A Nice Large Parcel was waiting for me at the post office with my first G1 purcahses of the year and another item of my "Hit List" acquired so lets have a closer look at my new goodies.

Targetmaster Blurr

Targetmaster Blurr was the last of  the 86 cars repackaged with nebulons that was missing from my collection (still require TM Cyclonus and Scourge to finish of the Targetmasters all together)

Growing up Blurr was one of my favorite cars mostly his look was so different from all the other cars (if you really can call Blurr a car) i had.

i was excited about the Targetmaster version arriving as these always seemed to be hard to obtain or really expensive when i had looked around for him. Whilst not part of the "Hit List" he is a welcome addition to the collection

Punch - Counterpunch

When i saw Punch/Counterpunch (PCP from now) and the price the seller wanted for him i thought that it was a nice bargain buy and i had always wanted a 2nd PCP to add to the collection one to display as Punch the other as Counterpunch so it really was a lucky find and  a good pick up with the rest of the lot.

the only downside is it looks like he never had his stickers applied and they are missing (he is in very good condition otherwise) i am undecided if i should purchase repro stickers for him or hunt down an original unused sticker sheet (what do you think??)

One thing i did think was odd wit PCP is the fact his box is ridiculously large compared to the size of the car. His box should of probably been in scale with Sunstreakers Box

Quickswitch

This is the second Quickswitch i have picked up in the last 6 months, this one is in far better condition then the last one in my collection and came complete with his box and foam (and instruction booklet) it was more of an opportunistic buy rather then something i hunted down for.. it really is a nice upgrade!!

I still tend to think that Quickswitch was designed as a Headmaster with his head the same blocky look as the Larger Headmasters even with the flip down panel to hide the face

Sunstreaker

Sunstreaker was one of the Items on my "Hit List" for 2012.. a List of Transformers i Have Targeted for purchase throughout the year. these are either replacements or small holes in my collection.

Sunstreaker was one of the few First year Autobots Cars i did not have doubles of (that's right the majority of 1984 Transformers i have doubles of.. after all it is my favorite year.!!)

So there was an opportunity when i discovered Targetmaster Blurr to pick up a pretty good example of Sunstreaker. I did my research and made sure it was not one of those dreaded knockoffs on the market and as soon as all the ticks were in the right boxes...Sunstreaker joined TM Blurr on the way to their new home.

So lets take a look


These four were all great additions to my collection and  reminded me how much i really love the G1 Transformers so much more then an of the recent movie related toys..
