this is one portion of the collection i am looking forward to adding too in the years... not sure if i will get the multiples still.. Although the idea of showing the Combaticons in Bruticus and Individual Robots and Vehicles would look great i think!!!

Acquisition - Animated - 2011 - Botcon Fisitron + Sideswipe

Who: Botcon Animated Fisitron + Sideswipe
Where: Sky Shadow (From OTCA)
When: January 16th 2012
How Much?: $75.00 + $50.00

My First Aquisition for the year manages to eliminate an item of my 2011 Hit List. Botcon 2011 is the first time if decided to get this series of exclusives, mostly because i like the way the Animated toy line kept the cartoon look and managed to make some pretty nifty toys, and these "expanded universe" characters fit into the toyline nicley!!

So Allow me to Introduce Botcon 2011 Sideswipe and Fisitron:

Sideswipe

This mould is one of my favorites in the Animated Toy line and a nice redeo here for TFCC Cheetor to Partner up with after the story in the Convention Comic. Aslo a nice Homage to G2 Sideswipe

Fisitron

LSOTW has alot to do with this characters popularity... a good re-use of the ironhide/ratched mould.
Both these figures are a great addition to the Animated portion of my collection..

A Big Thanks to Sky Shadow from OTCA for selling these to me and knocking a few more bots of the Missing List

Transformers - Animated

2008 - 2010

In 2008 a new style of animation came from the transformers world... and with that they were able to capture that style into toy form, out of all the modern day toys, this is my favorite line i just like the simple look of the characters and the toys just have a great feel to them

So behold the glory that is my Transformer Animated Collection!!

Goodbye He-Man, Goodbye Skeletor

In 2002 He-man was re-imagined and along with a new cartoon came a new toyline, the toys were great, good sculpting and a close likness to the new toon, so like the collectorholic i was i picked them up, one by one and since they were slow getting a release out here in Australia, eBay become my friend. But one of the hardest things about collecting is space. Space to display the collection or space to store the collection when its not on display. So as one collection grows.. and continues to grow choices must be made. So i made a choice to pass on my collection to a good home where they will get the space to be showcased instead of stored in a tub until maybe some space would grow.

So this is it my Masters of the Universe collection where it will be remembered, so Goodbye He-man, Goodbye Skeletor may you bring hapiness to others!

Above is the action figures and playsets that made up the collection, 26 Figures, 3 "Vehicles" and 2 Playsets made up my collection.

Spotlight: Transformer Collection - Danglers

Decorations for your Phone....

Part of the Blockbuster Movie Merchandise Machine for the 2007 Movie these little "Danglers" appeared at K-mart Vending Machines, whilst not blind packaging like some of the other trading figures of the past you had no control over what dangler the machine spat out after it ate your $2 coin.

these are kinda cool totally worth the price you pay for them with a squishy rubber outer shell these little figures hide the plastic vehicle mode of the transformer character, give them a squeeze and out it comes... now why you would want to have them attached to you phone....

Pretty Simple. but then pretty cool at the same time. there is only 8 of them.

Spotlight: Transformer Collection - Worlds Smallest

Mini Me Transformers

2003 was a big year for trading figures to come out of Japan, and The Worlds Smallest Transformers was the next to hit the market. Once Again these were Blind Packed Trading Figures, 3 series well technically 2.5 in total with an assortment of basic or common figures and the chase figures.. and just like the myclones i am missing a few of those pesky chase figure..

Wave 1: Convoy, Convoy Trailer (chase), Lambor, Starscream, Bumble, Soundwave, Red bumble (chase) & Skywarp (chase)

Wave 2: Anime Convoy, Megatron, Meister, Prowl, Alert, Thrust, Ultra Magnus (chase) & Streak (chase)

Wave 2.5: (Store Excl.): Anime Convoy, Anime Convoy Trailer (chase), Hot Rodimus, Meister, Soundwave, Starscream, Megatron, Thundercracker (chase)

As you see wave 2.5 was mostly repacks of already released figures so i never doubled up on them, the two chase figures and Hot Rodimus were the only new additions. however the chase figures are still elusive.

And before you wonder, no i didn't reuses the case to take the class photo i do have a couple of those for various displays.

Bodycount: 13 Worlds Smallest Transformers
